Our coffee business is preparing for a significant corporate transition and strategic evolution. This is an exciting, fast-paced period that increases our communications workload across both internal and external channels.
To successfully deliver these major strategic milestones — while keeping business-as-usual running smoothly — we are looking for a Senior Interim External Communications Specialist to temporarily supplement our global team in Amsterdam.
Your immediate priority is the end-to-end launch of our new corporate transition and evolution. You will drive the external rollout of our new corporate identity, ensuring a flawless launch while flexing to broader external communications needs as required.
Your key responsibilities:
Coordinate Brand Rollout Execution: Take the lead in applying our new visual identity across web, print, templates, signage, and physical environments.
Vendor & Agency Management: Manage design, web, and production agencies. You are the guardian of our brand consistency and hold the line on quality.
PR & Announcements: Support external announcement communications around the corporate spin, working closely with our PR agency and the permanent External Communications Manager.
Own the Launch: Manage launch assets and timelines meticulously through to go-live.
Operational Support: Provide hands-on external comms support where needed. You are comfortable doing operational tasks, but you also know when and how to delegate.
We are looking for a hands-on operator who is comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving transaction environment.
Requirements:
Experience: Senior-level experience in an international setting at the highest level.
Expertise: A strong background in external communications, including brand activation, brand rollout, and marketing comms. Experience with rebranding, M&A, or spin-offs is a strong plus.
Skills: Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills. You know how to manage agencies and keep track of tight deadlines.
Language: English speaking or Dutch native with C2 English (ideally having worked abroad).
Mindset: Adaptable, flexible across priorities, and fully comfortable with confidentiality.
