As Specialist HR Business Partner, you operate at the heart of a complex and changing European organisation. You are the strategic HR sparring partner for managers and employees across multiple locations, supporting them through organisational change, employee relations and talent decisions that matter.
Your roleAs HR Business Partner, you combine employee relations expertise with strong business partnering skills. You advise, challenge and support leaders, while ensuring HR policies and practices are applied consistently and effectively.
You will:
- Provide HR direction and consultation to managers and employees at all levels
- Act as a trusted advisor to management teams within your client groups
- Coach managers in leadership effectiveness, engagement and people decision-making
- Monitor and interpret HR policies, ensuring compliance and consistent application
- Manage employee relations topics and interface with the Works Council (OR)
- Anticipate organisational and people-related risks in a changing environment
You actively contribute to HR transformation and improvement initiatives across the organisation:
- Support implementation of HR CoE priorities and HR projects
- Assess effectiveness of HR services and provide feedback to Corporate HR
- Support organisational design and workforce analysis
- Contribute to communication plans related to business and HR change
- Work effectively in a global, virtual HR environment
You play a key role in ensuring strong talent pipelines and leadership capability:
- Lead and support recruitment, staffing and succession planning for your scope
- Support performance management and employee development processes
- Facilitate and support talent review sessions and succession planning
- Provide input on compensation, salary planning and reward programmes
- Experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR advisory role
- Comfort working in complex, international and changing environments
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively, without close supervision
- Experience with Works Councils (OR) is a strong advantage
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Location: Bergen op Zoom (primary) with travel to Geleen
- Hybrid working: up to 50% remote
- Working hours: 40 hours
- Team: European HR team (10-15 colleagues)
