Our activities consist of real-time and online platforms for international exchange, knowledge sharing and education. Through these, we provide medical professionals with the latest developments and expertise in infectious diseases, liver diseases, COVID-19, and other related areas.

Scope of Employment:

• Using scientific knowledge and writing skill to effectively and clearly communicate technical and complex scientific information into creative content driving recipients to take action.
• Driving force for scientific and medical writing and PR relating to email marketing, social media, press releases, other PR, and exhibition.
• Supporting the communications manager and team with all tasks related to corporate communications – both internally and externally.
• Supporting the scientific team in the production of educational materials and proposals.
• Supporting the project teams with timely execution of communication plans – including monitoring milestones and deadlines.

Your Key Tasks

• Combining scientific knowledge with excellent writing skills for medical marketing campaigns.
• Producing copy on websites, blogs, and other social media platforms that connect with medical professionals and the public.
• Assisting the Scientific Team in producing educational materials for healthcare professionals – including speaker briefs, presentations, funding proposals, and needs statements.
• On occasion, writing scientific meeting reports, key take home messages, and other after sales materials.
• Reviewing and proofreading materials to check quality and scientific accuracy.
• Developing a robust advertising campaign targeted at your intended audience.
• Reading clinical data reports from high-authority sources, analyzing the data, and extracting the relevant information.
• Upholding ethical medical principles.
• Generating content using SEO skills in order to optimize search results.
• Supporting communications manager with strategic planning / team management as required.
• Keeping abreast of current literature, emerging science, technological developments, and medical treatments relevant to company programs.

Requirements:

• MSc in life sciences or a bachelor's degree in English or journalism.
• Familiarity with principles of clinical research across a range of specialized databases.
• Proven knowledge of SEO and keyword research.
• Excellent writing skills and proven medical copywriting experience.
• The ability to analyze data, extract salient information, and present it in a fresh way.
• Exceptional time-management and multi-tasking skills.
• Detail oriented and with meticulous attention to details.
• Proficient in MS Office, Active Campaign, CMS, EventsAIR, or other CRMs.
• Awareness of global inbound marketing trends in the medical field.

• Accurate and precise.
• Honest and reliable.

Language:

• Compulsory: Native command of English.
• Nice to Have: Dutch at B1 level (NT2).

Other Requirements:

• Must be a Dutch resident.
• 0,8 – 1 FTE.
