As a Strategy Consulting Manager, you’ll lead client engagements for airlines, airports, and other global industry players, solving their most pressing strategic and commercial questions. You’ll manage project teams, mentor junior consultants, and work in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Founded in 2022 by a core team of former aviation strategy consultants, Rotate has grown rapidly. We now have offices in the Netherlands and Malaysia and a diverse team of around 50 professionals, including strategy consultants, data scientists, software developers, and data engineers. Demand for our work continues to grow strongly, and we are therefore looking for a talented Strategy Consulting Manager to strengthen our team.
What you’ll doWhen joining Rotate as a Strategy Consulting Manager, you will:
- Join a young and entrepreneurial company and be part of a unique, experienced, and well‑connected team
- Help define the strategic and commercial direction of airlines, airports, and other industry players
- Lead the day‑to‑day delivery of our consulting projects, mentoring and developing our junior consultants along the way
- Work directly with clients around the world and make key contributions to our solutions, often in collaboration with our data scientists and developers
- Get the opportunity to shape the consulting team, become an expert in a key international industry, and build a strong industry network
Engagements may range from advising airlines on their optimal future fleet & network, figuring out commercial synergies of a partnership between airlines, to helping the Head of Cargo Pricing design a holistic approach to long‑term and spot pricing.
Your key responsibilities include- Structure complex airline questions into manageable workstreams with well‑defined timelines and deliverables
- Lead project teams of 2‑3 consultants, providing mentorship and training to our growing strategy consulting team
- Manage all aspects of strategy engagements with air cargo airlines and other key industry players
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders
- Confidently communicate findings and recommendations in client meetings
- Bring the best of Rotate to our clients in close collaboration with our software and analytics teams

- 5+ years of professional experience in strategy consulting, with at least 1‑2 years as a manager
- A track record of solving complex problems using analytics and quantitative problem‑solving skills
- Experience mentoring and training junior analysts and consultants
- Affinity for aviation, air cargo, transportation, logistics, or a related industry
- Comfortable working in cross‑cultural and multi‑disciplinary teams with people at all levels
- Willing to travel internationally for client projects
- An undergraduate or master’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
