The main goal of the CSA is to provide engineering expertise to ensure projects are constructed safely, efficiently, and within budget and schedule.
Responsibilities- Ensuring compliance with company health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Upholding high-quality standards by advocating for "performing all activities once and correctly."
- Contributing to achieving zero Lost Time Incidents (LTIs).
- Participating in the development of innovative, cost-effective construction methods.
- Collaborating with site management and workers to minimize the need for rework.
- Managing delegated projects alongside the Site Supervisor.
- Developing construction schedules in coordination with the site team.
- Monitoring project progress continuously to meet milestones.
- Planning resource allocation (equipment, labour, subcontractors) with the Project Manager.
- Coordinating material and subcontractor procurement to meet project schedules.
- Analyzing monthly project costs with the Project Manager.
- Monitoring environmental controls when necessary.
- Promoting and demonstrating safety practices.
- Note: Duties may vary and encompass all tasks within the Engineering and Operations function of the client.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture; degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in civil, structural, and architectural engineering roles, with a specialization in energy projects and infrastructure being advantageous.
- Proficiency in industry codes and standards pertaining to civil, structural, and architectural engineering (e.g., Eurocodes, IBC, ASCE).
- Demonstrated history of effectively executing engineering projects from inception to conclusion, preferably within the energy industry.
- Outstanding communication abilities, enabling fruitful collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders across various levels.
- Flexibility to travel extensively within mainland Europe as needed.
