Are you a detail-driven contract professional who thrives on accuracy, structure, and stakeholder collaboration? Do you enjoy owning the end-to-end contract lifecycle—ensuring every clause, term, and condition is correct while keeping systems and documentation perfectly aligned? As a Contract Administrator, you safeguard accuracy, compliance, and commercial terms across multiple commodities, perform four-eyes checks, and resolve complex issues with partners across the business.
You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement: enhancing processes, sharing knowledge, and supporting onboarding so the team scales its impact effectively.
What you will do- Review and correct commodity purchase and sales confirmations entered by traders in the internal system.
- Review external contracts with field offices and broker/third-party contracts.
- Create and review third-party sales contracts generated by the internal system, ensuring correctness of agreed terms and completeness of clauses.
- Confirm commodity contracts with third-party counterparties.
- Reconcile commodity contracts with all relevant documentation.
- Review contract status in the internal system and follow up with responsible colleagues.
- Manage business rules determining contract clauses for your assigned commodities.
- Contribute to process-improvement projects and the department’s further development.
- Support team succession planning via onboarding and knowledge transfer.
Required
- 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills; high accuracy and a structured way of working.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar.
- Knowledge of basic administration.
- Knowledge of regular contract processes (preferred).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English.
- Knowledge of GAFTA, FOSFA contracts desirable
- Experience with agricultural trading or supply chain.
- Act as a proactive intermediary during internal contract negotiations; communicate clearly and professionally.
- Work closely with traders, operations, and the legal department.
- Facilitate questions and connect stakeholders with the right teams; deliver contracts on time.
