Main Responsibilities:

• Commercial Oversight on all large Projects across all BU’s in EMEA > 500k
• Manage team of Quantity Surveyors to support Projects in the different BU’s in EMEA
• Work with Procurement to build up quality, reliable Supply Chain in each country, for each discipline.
• Maintain working relationships with our clients, to ensure CBRE are their first point of contact when required
• Manage and deliver all commercial aspects of large tender project opportunities across EMEA
• Monthly commercial reviews of all large Projects being delivered across EMEA
• Complete review and Analysis of current position and forecast of project revenue and margin across EMEA, on a BI-Weekly Basis
• Assist all Project Personnel as a QS function for commercial oversight on Project Costs
• Carry out all Pre-Contract and Post Contract duties outlined below

Pre-Contract Phase:

• Assess tender documents to ensure enough information available to prepare tender
• Take off quantities
• Prepare and issue sub-contract enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt
• Prepare and issue material supply enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt
• Prepare specifications and/or Contractors proposals
• Submit tenders and follow up
• Post tender negotiations
• Cost planning and value management
• Set Up Project Cost Plan for the Project
• Review and Prepare commercial risk register for each project

Post-Contract Phase:

• Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre-tender and post contract matters
• Preparation and issue of contractual letters to clients and/or sub-contractors
• Post contract liaison with clients
• Post contract liaison with design team
• Carry out take offs for material procurement
• Sub-contract negotiation and letting
• Full review of Construction Package, and complete IFT Vs IFT exercise, compiling a cost analysis for variations and potential savings for the project.
• Preparation and submission of interim valuations
• Site measurement
• Manage and value variations
• Agreement and certification of sub-contractor’s interim valuations and final accounts
• Preparation and submission of several works final account
• Agreement of final accounts
• Compile Bi-Monthly Commercial reports for Senior Management Team
• Completion of Monthly Project Reviews with Commercial Team
• Compile Cashflow for Projects Department for Senior Management Team
