The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at the University of Groningen is looking for a management assistent. This temporary employment is for one year, starting as soon as possible. Depending on performance and developments in the organization there is the possibility of an extension.

- Completed HAVO with, preferably, a secretary education or completed education at MBO secretary level 4;
- Relevant work experience;
- Adept oral and writing skills in Dutch and English;
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, familiar with ICT, and experience with other MS Office and Google Chrome programs;
- Employable in the digital environment and able to provide support for online educational processes;
- Capable of working both independently and within a team;
- Flexible and proactive attitude.
You will be part of a professional, collegial, and committed team. Together with two other fellow management office assistants, you will take responsibility for the secretarial support of the department. All communication within the department is in English. The Secretary Level is dependent upon the level of secretarial skills.
- Execution of (administrative) support activities for education and research as well as processing information;
- Information: act as the first point of contact for questions from staff, students, and external guests and answer questions or refer to the appropriate person;
- Taking minutes in English at various meetings;
- Processing business correspondence;
- Telephone and email traffic;
- Providing administrative and communicative support during the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members;
- Agenda management: planning, scheduling, and coordinating appointments;
- Archiving:digitally documenting and archiving information.
