De Plesman opened its doors in March 2025 and has already earned a Michelin Key (which we’re secretly very proud of). We're a boutique hotel located in the former KLM headquarters in The Hague, honoring aviation pioneer Albert Plesman. The building’s history is reflected in every detail, from its architecture to its hospitality. Guests can enjoy an amazing dinner at Restaurant Suus, named after Plesman’s wife, or unwind at Albert Bar, named after Albert Plesman himself. A dynamic spot between the dunes and the city where The Hague’s heritage comes to life.
So.. What is different you ask? We are bold. We are looking for someone who wants to evolve hospitality together with us. We believe our team members are at the heart of our hotel and make it such a special place. We can’t do this alone though, and hence we are looking for you to be the link between our hotel operations and the finance department.

What will you be doing?
● You will manage accounts payable and receivable (precision is your strength) and prepare payment proposals
● You are responsible for the processing bank transactions
● You perform credit checks to keep our finances clear and organized.
● You perform income audits and daily closing procedures including cash reconciliation
You support our finance controller
Small print:
● You are available for a full-time or part-time position
● You have at least MBO/HBO working and thinking level, with a passion for the hotel industry
● You have 1 to 2 years of experience in finance
● You are skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams) and can use these tools efficiently
● You will be on top of our list if you have knowledge of PMS software (like Mews) and/or accounting systems (like AFAS)
● You speak English fluently, it would be considered a plus if you speak Dutch
● You are hands-on, structured and take responsibility
● You preferably live in the vicinity of The Hague
