Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sr. IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in managing our global IT infrastructure.

As a Sr. IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining a scalable and highly available infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering teams to develop, deploy, and maintain our network and technology stack. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a strong service ethic, and a passion for technology. You will lead projects focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining our global IT Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Management:
   1. Maintain and support the corporate IT infrastructure across all sites and regions.
   2. Ensure system environments are maintained in line with corporate security policies.
   3. Manage and monitor the virtual infrastructure, including VMware, virtual servers, and storage systems.
   4. Schedule and deploy system and network installations, updates, and upgrades globally.
2. Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
   1. Monitor network performance and automate monitoring functions to prevent outages.
   2. Troubleshoot and resolve network and system problems, providing Level 2/3 support as needed.
   3. Utilize network diagnostic and analytics tools to identify and address issues.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
   1. Work closely with engineering teams to report issues, lead project deliverables, and provide status updates.
   2. Partner with local DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and support of IT infrastructure.
   3. Adhere to corporate configuration and change management policies to ensure successful changes to the network infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in systems.
• At least 5 years’ experience in server administration and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware infrastructure and Linux systems admin required.
• Experience with Ansible automation.
• Experience with enterprise backup and storage solutions is advantageous.
• Proficiency with monitoring, network diagnostic, and analytics tools is a plus.
• Experience managing hybrid environments (cloud/on-premises) is an advantage.
• Proven experience deploying and supporting effective patch management solutions.
• Willingness to perform after-hours and weekend work when necessary.
