What will you do?As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will be part of the development team. This team is responsible for meeting deadlines within the sprint. As a senior, this means you will operate independently within the projects while also coaching your junior/medior colleagues. However, your main focus will be on adding value for our clients.
You will develop new modules within the framework and coordinate the hosting process, as well as the rollout and optimization of software within a project-driven organization with a diverse client portfolio.
Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact for project leaders and colleagues on content-related matters, acting as a go-to resource for issues related to the realization of websites and web applications. You will advise and guide fellow Developers functionally and coach them in finding solutions and setups. Moreover, you will process and verify data for accuracy, identify problems, and propose improvements to enhance overall quality.
What are we looking for?- At least a Bachelor's level of thinking and working, complemented by several years of relevant work experience.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Extensive knowledge of recent versions of PHP and experience with object-oriented programming and modern design patterns.
- Familiarity with client-side technologies like Vue, HTML5, and CSS3, as well as experience in building API integrations.
- Experience with Symfony.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Knowledge of Git workflows and best practices.
- Experience with using Docker for building and deploying software.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and other relevant security standards.
- You embrace "Security by Design."
- Familiarity with new trends and current developments in application development, and experience in functionally leading and coaching junior and medior colleagues.
