As Product Owner Lenny – AI Lending Assistant, you play a key role in one of the most visible AI initiatives within Lending Transformation. Lenny is at the heart of how we are reshaping Credit Origination, directly supporting lenders in their daily work and helping to embed AI into core lending processes. In this high impact role, you connect AI innovation with real business value. You work closely with senior stakeholders, AI and data specialists, and colleagues across the Lending domain to guide Lenny from innovation to scaled adoption. Your work contributes directly to the ambitions of the NextGen Lending program, ensuring that AI is applied responsibly, effectively and in a way that truly supports colleagues and entrepreneurs. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine product leadership, AI innovation and tangible impact in a core lending domain, while operating at the intersection of strategy, execution and collaboration.

As Product Owner, you are end-to-end responsible for the vision, roadmap and delivery of Lenny, our AI Lending Assistant that supports lenders throughout the credit origination process. You set clear direction and priorities, translate strategy into a focused product backlog and take full ownership for outcomes.

In this role, you functionally lead and steer a multidisciplinary team of business developers and IT engineers, providing clarity on goals, scope and sequencing, and ensuring the team can operate effectively and with impact. You are the primary point of direction and decision making for the product, aligning people and expertise around a shared vision. Next to that, you work in close collaboration with the Program Manager for Intelligent Lending, as strategic sparring partner. Together, you translate the ABN AMRO AI Strategy into relevant AI propositions for Credits.

You ensure that Lenny integrates seamlessly into Credit Origination processes and evolves from an innovative AI solution into a scaled, reliable and well-embedded product. You actively manage senior stakeholders within Lending Transformation, confidently navigate differing interests and expectations, and balance innovation with compliance, explainability and operational robustness. Through regular demos, reviews and clear progress reporting, you create transparency and momentum. Together with the Lead Product Owner, you ensure Lenny delivers sustainable value and contributes meaningfully to the broader ambitions of NextGen Lending.

You will work within the Credits & Collateral Lifecycle Grid, part of Lending Transformation, where we redesign lending journeys, processes and capabilities end-to-end. Lenny operates at the intersection of Credit Origination, Data & AI capabilities and the NextGen Lending program. You collaborate closely with colleagues across Lending Transformation, AI and data teams, and departments such as Business Clients & Ecosystems, Lending Support and Lending Operations to ensure adoption, scalability and alignment with business needs.

You are a product minded professional who naturally takes the lead and gets things moving. You feel comfortable operating in complex environments and know how to create focus, alignment and momentum. With your experience in (commercial) lending, you understand the world of our stakeholders and lenders. You translate ABN AMRO’s AI ambitions into concrete, value-driven solutions for the credit domain. As a strong sparring partner who can act at a strategic level, you work closely with stakeholders to deliver real impact.

What you bring:

• Higher educational background (master level)
• Proven track record as Product Owner or in a similar role with a strong delivery track record
• Able to operate on a strategic level and act as a trusted sparring partner
• Experience with credits and digital lending processes
• Translate (AI) strategy into concrete, valuable propositions
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including senior stakeholders
• A combination of vision, ownership and execution drive
• Energetic, collaborative and results-oriented

• An attractive gross monthly salary (min. Eur. 7.048 – max Eur. 10.068) based on a 36 hour work week, including holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget. A 40 hour work is also possible.
