Responsibilities- Engine conditioning monitoring – maintain optimal engine performance.
- Maintenance optimization algorithms – develop models to improve maintenance planning.
- Structured and unstructured data intake methods – design processes for ingesting diverse data.
- Data validation and correction – ensure data quality across systems.
- Central databases and data pipeline between databases – manage data architecture.
- Collecting, analyzing and documenting airline and lessor requirements for customization items – translate requirements into solutions.
- Work with a team to build features for the Databricks platform.
- Learn about building a platform that scales quickly while maintaining quality and security.
- Support ongoing team activities; manage project end‑to‑end, including design, code, and feedback.
- Join team meetings and cross‑department projects.
- Improve processes or bring new ideas to the table.
- Work on projects/research that actually gets used.
- Analyse data, create reports, or do research.
- Collaborate with people across countries.
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in engineering or computer science.
- Experience with SQL and/or Python.
- Analytical skills to make data‑driven decisions (e.g., analyse product usage).
- Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate nuance clearly to partners (engineers, customers, field, etc.) verbally and in writing.
- Excited to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team.
- Full‑time position, duration: preferably 6 months.
- Start date: internships always start at the beginning of the month.
- Active student status required for the entire duration of the internship (at a university or higher education institution).
- Applicants must possess a valid work permit for the Netherlands; we cannot assist with obtaining one for interns.
