Tasks
You'll be our first commercial hire. You'll own both our product-led growth motion (Yasu Lite signups → conversions) and founder-led enterprise sales (scale-ups spending €300K+ on cloud). You'll work closely with the founding team to define our target markets, develop and execute sales strategies, and scale the sales team over time. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to operate independently, build relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you'll actually do:
- Generate and close deals: Outbound, inbound, PLG conversions, whatever works. You own the number.
- Build the sales playbook: Sequences, pricing conversations, objection handling, handoffs, CRM hygiene. Document what works so we can scale it.
- Run the Yasu Lite funnel: Get us to maximum signups, figure out what converts, optimize relentlessly.
- Feed insights back to product: You'll talk to more prospects than anyone. Make sure what you learn shapes what we build.
Once we crack the motion together, you'll help us hire and scale the team
Requirements
You're a great fit if you
- Have 3+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with experience selling to mid-market or enterprise
- Have closed deals yourself end-to-end, not just managed inbound or worked as part of a large team
- Have worked at an early-stage startup (pre-seed to series A/B) before and know what building from scratch actually means
- Can context-switch between running a PLG funnel and navigating a 3-month enterprise sales cycle
- Are comfortable selling something technical to engineering buyers
- Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Apptio, Clay) and sales engagement tools to manage the sales pipeline and track performance
Bonus points for
- Experience selling in the cloud cost management, FinOps, or DevOps tooling space
- Existing relationships with scale-ups in Benelux
- Previous experience at AWS, GCP, Azure, or a high-growth infrastructure/developer tools company
- You've built a sales process from zero before
