Job Description

Your role

The EBS WMS Functional Lead will be responsible for driving end-to-end Oracle EBS R12 Warehouse Management solutions while ensuring seamless Agile (Scrum) delivery. The role combines solution architecture, functional leadership, and Scrum facilitation, ensuring high-quality, high-performance warehouse and logistics solutions delivered on time and at scale. This role requires strong Oracle WMS functional expertise, hands-on solution design and performance engineering, and the ability to lead complex programs, manage client stakeholders (including CXO level), and coordinate onsite-offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Should be able to facilitate the Scrum process/ceremonies seamlessly: Sprint Planning, Host Daily Standup, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Facilitates collaboration and communication between team players and leadership to ensure a successful project outcome.
• Aware of Scrum principles and Agile engineering practices.
• Facilitate communication: ensure clear communication between the team, the Product Owner, and stakeholders.
• Assist Product Owner with Product Backlog prioritization.
• Implementing process changes and steps to improve team productivity.
• Implementing Project Management/Best Practices.
• Remove team impediments/roadblocks and protect the team from outside distractions.
• Ensure smoother and seamless quality delivery within sprint timelines.

Required

• Strong Functional and Application knowledge in Oracle EBS R12 Modules - Shipping, MSCA, WMS, and Inventory.
• Hands-on implementation experience of Oracle EBS R12 WMS functions like Picking, Put-away, Task Management, Cross docking, Barcode label printing, handheld devices/scanners, 3PL.
• Experience designing and delivering complex custom solutions in highly integrated applications (e.g., integrating 3rd Party WMS, Transportation Management, Trade Compliance and excise applications, Weights & Dimensions, EDI with Oracle EBS).
• Knowledge of Transportation Management, PDH/PIM, SCP modules is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of end-to-end processes Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Master data management, Intercompany processes is essential.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and familiarity with Supply Chain and WMS DB tables.
• Experience as Solution Architect in Oracle ERP-led transformations; well-versed with Oracle EBS capabilities.
• Responsible for leading requirements elicitation, fit-gap analysis, development, configuration, functional testing, and post-production support.
• Strong experience gathering performance requirements and designing solutions for very high transaction volumes; experience in performance testing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Europe Localizations, preferably on Oracle ERP packages.
• Comfortable driving requirements workshops, CRPs, and Key Design Discussion sessions with clients.
• Oracle Certification is mandatory; Distribution Industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Oracle Technology stack and Cloud Web Services, ALM tools (e.g., Panaya, JIRA), and performance testing tools is desirable.
• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills. Strong leadership and delivery management experience with offshore teams and 3rd party application teams (OCI, etc.).
• Track record of interacting and building relationships with CXO-level client contacts.
• Managing client escalations as a Solution Architect.
• Onsite-Offshore communication and work management.

Preferred

• Hands-on experience with MSCA; involved in 2-3 WMS implementations and hypercare projects.
• Co-ordinating across tracks and problem-solving approach.
