The HR Director Supply Chain (HRD SC) is the senior HR leader for Nutreco’s Integrated Supply Chain. The role acts as strategic business partner to the Chief Supply Officer (CSCO), ensuring people, organization, and leadership capabilities enable operational excellence, scalability, and global transformation.
Key Accountabilities- Act as trusted sparring partner to the CSCO and Supply Chain Leadership Team.
- Translate supply chain strategy into a clear people and capability agenda.
- Lead the people side of digital and AI transformations in the Supply Chain (AI in the workplace) for both our HR operating model and the business Leadership of HR within Supply Chain.
- Lead HRBP GSP EU, HRBP Global Operations, and Program Manager YPP.
- Provide functional steering to HRBPs with supply chain scope through dotted-line accountability.
- Align HR priorities across procurement, quality & regulatory, IBP, and operations.
- Lead strategic workforce planning for critical supply chain, technical, and leadership roles.
- Support leadership development and succession planning across the supply chain.
- Sponsor key transformation and change initiatives within Supply Chain, in close collaboration with COEs.
- Sponsor people-related aspects of supply chain and operational transformations.
- Partner closely with COEs and HR Operations to ensure scalable HR solutions.
- Be accountable for roll‑up and optimization of HR plans and people cost (AP) across Supply Chain, in coordination with Finance and Global Rewards.
- Co‑own HR functional cost performance as part of the HRLT, including workforce size, external spend, and operating model efficiency.
- Identify and drive structural efficiency opportunities (e.g. Simplification, automation, productivity improvements, operating model changes).
- Actively contribute to HRLT decision‑making, shaping Nutreco’s overall HR strategy, operating model, and transformation agenda.
- Collaborate closely with COEs, HR Operations, and other HRDs to ensure end‑to‑end HR effectiveness.
Reports to: Chief HR Officer. Direct reports: HRBP GSP EU, HRBP Global Operations, Program Manager YPP. Dotted line: HRBP GSP USA and HRBPs with operational scope (matrix alignment).
