Job description
As a Senior Shopify Consultant at Ask Phill, you will be the strategic partner for our enterprise clients, guiding them through their entire e-commerce journey. You'll combine extensive Shopify expertise with deep e-commerce knowledge to understand client challenges, propose solutions, and coordinate execution from discovery through delivery.
Working autonomously, you will own complex projects end to end. You'll advise on Shopify Plus capabilities, translate business challenges into actionable plans, orchestrate collaboration between designers, developers, and clients, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure successful delivery. You truly understand how Shopify works at a deep level (ideally you've built stores yourself or managed e-commerce operations) and can translate that into strategic guidance for global brands.
We expect you to leverage AI tools like Claude to work smarter, focusing on strategic thinking and client partnership. If you have extensive Shopify experience, breathe e-commerce, love AI, and excel at senior level client communication, we can't wait to meet you!

Job requirements- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Shopify experience (building, configuring, managing stores, or leading e-commerce operations)
- Deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape, particularly in fashion, lifestyle, and beauty
- Solid technical knowledge of Shopify Plus capabilities, apps, integrations, and platform architecture
- Experience using AI tools to enhance workflow
- Strong communication skills, comfortable with C-level stakeholders
- Ability to translate business challenges into actionable solutions
- Strategic thinker who anticipates needs
- Project management or technical product ownership
- E-commerce manager background for a brand
- Built your own Shopify store or worked as a merchant
