How you support our team
Your mission – HR that truly makes a difference!
We're looking for a communicative and solution-oriented person to take on operational HR responsibility for our Dutch market as our People & Operations Manager (all genders welcome). Alongside HR, you'll also be part of our Business Operations in retail — supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our Dutch stores and working closely with our retail teams on operational topics. You make sure our employees experience an outstanding employee experience from day one — from recruitment through onboarding to offboarding. You're the go-to contact for all HR and operational matters and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
In this role, you're not just managing existing processes — you actively shape them: you optimize and digitalize HR processes, contribute to Business Operations topics across our retail stores, and ensure compliance with Dutch labor law and our internal policies. You report to the Head of HR and act as a sparring partner for employees and managers alike.
- Modern Equipment: Laptop, monitor, and modern HRIS tools (e.g., Factorial) plus Microsoft Office for efficient work.
- Retail Business Operations: Exposure to Business Operations topics across our Dutch retail stores, beyond core HR work.
- Professional Development: Participation in national and international HR training programs, labor law seminars, and leadership development initiatives.
- International Environment: Close collaboration with the Global HR Team, local managers, and international business functions.
- Room to Take Ownership: Independent coordination of local HR and Business Operations topics and initiatives.
What sets you apart
- HR Experience: Several years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist HR or People Operations role.
- Legal Know-How: Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and local HR processes.
- Payroll Experience: Experience working with external payroll providers and public authorities.
- Retail Operations Interest: Interest in or first experience with Business Operations topics in a retail environment; comfortable working closely with store teams.
- Tool Proficiency: Proficient in HRIS platforms (e.g., Factorial) and Microsoft Office.
- Recruitment Practice: Experience in recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Languages: Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; German is an advantage.
- Way of Working: Structured, solution-oriented, and independent.
- Discretion: High level of discretion and reliability when handling confidential information.
You can look forward to this
- Employee Lifecycle: You guide employees from recruitment through onboarding to offboarding and act as the first point of contact for all HR questions.
- Payroll & Administration: You prepare monthly payroll and ensure smooth handling of absences, vacation requests, and sick leave administration.
- Recruitment: You own the full recruitment process for the Dutch market — from job posting to hire.
- Retail Business Operations: You support the day-to-day Business Operations of our Dutch retail stores, working closely with store teams on operational topics alongside your HR responsibilities.
- Process Improvement: You actively drive the digitalization and optimization of our HR and operational processes.
- Compliance: You ensure compliance with Dutch labor legislation and our internal policies.
- Stakeholder Management: You're the key point of contact for authorities, external service providers, the Global HR Team, and our retail teams.
