About the role & the team

As Marketing & Content Manager at XITE, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing our content and marketing campaigns. You ensure our content reaches the right audience, at the right time, on the right channels. You will lead our four-person content team (Graphic Designer, Brand Designer, Video Content Producer, and Allround Video & Content Creator), while collaborating closely with the music team and our Growth Marketer to align content with campaigns and growth initiatives. You report directly to the VP of Marketing and continuously improve workflows and content processes using automation and AI, making our work more efficient and effective.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full content lifecycle: from creation to distribution.

• Plan, coordinate, and optimize the marketing and content calendar.

• Manage the Content Team.

• Coordinate editorial placements and collaborations with platform partners.

• Optimize content processes using tools, automation, and AI.

• Work closely with the music team to align content and campaigns.

• Manage relationships with platform partners and external agencies.

• Monitor deadlines, priorities, and quality across all content projects.

• Report on performance and KPIs to the VP of Marketing.

• Ensure that all communications maintain a consistent tone of voice and high quality.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within media, entertainment, or digital marketing.

• Strategic, organized and result-oriented with strong planning skills.

• Experience in content and marketing coordination, including managing a team.

• Analytical and data-driven, with experience in process optimization.

• Knowledgeable of editorial planning, social media, and media partnerships.

• You speak and write Dutch and English fluently.

• Affinity with music and digital media.

• Proactive team player who keeps an overview and provides direction.

• You live in the Netherlands, as we would like to see you in our office at least 3 days per week.

Our hiring process

3. 2nd interview (office): During this interview you will meet your future manager and the rest of the team. They want to get to know you better and will dive deeper into the role and your experience.

4. Final interview: During this interview, you will have a final chat with one of our Management Team members.

5. Reference check: We ask you for 2 references that we can give a call and ask a few questions as a part of our hiring process.
