Senior data-architect in UWV Data Office, focused on connecting architectural principles within UWV and applying them in the delivery processes of teams that work on data-driven improvements. The role supports strengthening data usage across the organization, in coordination with the Chief Data Officer (CDO) and Data Office UWV.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the UWV-wide data framework, including data strategy, data architecture, data policy, standards, and guidelines, and data governance.
- Advise on the application of these frameworks, taking into account external developments in data management and coordinating with the CIO-office, CTO-office and local datamanagement.
- Support the Data Office manager in guiding the Data Office strategy and activities and provide direction for task assignments of colleagues inside and outside the discipline.
- Operate effectively within the interface between core processes, ICT, and the design, implementation, and monitoring of data frameworks.
- Ensure alignment with local datamanagement activities across business units responsible for the operational and tactical setup of the data ecosystem.
- Coach other architects, lead internal projects functionally, and contribute to a higher level of competency in key areas.
- Take into account external developments in the field of data management and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure coherent data governance and usage.
Data Office UWV operates under the Directorate Data Services and supports the CDO in ensuring an unambiguous and workable data environment. The office provides data governance, supports data-driven decision making, and collaborates with external bodies (e.g., SZW and other authorities) in data-related responsibilities. The Senior data-architect collaborates with the manager Data Office to shape strategy and activities and to guide the work of colleagues both within and outside the domain.
Qualifications and Competencies- Extensive experience as a data architect, with a senior profile and proven ability to coach fellow architects.
- Ability to functionally steer internal projects and contribute at a higher competency level on selected competencies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to align with CIO-office, CTO-office and local datamanagement, and to coordinate with other parts of UWV.
- Knowledge of data governance, data management, and data architecture principles as they apply to an enterprise setting.
