As Global Social & Culture Director, you will lead the enterprise-wide social and cultural agenda across Global Coffee Co., shaping how social drives growth, relevance, and brand performance at scale. Reporting to the Global Creativity & Connections Director, you will define the global vision, governance model, and transformation roadmap for social marketing across global teams, zones, and marketing clusters.

You will establish the standards, operating principles, and capabilities that enable our brands to participate meaningfully in culture while managing risk across a global portfolio of heritage brands. Working closely with Marketing, Corporate Communications, Legal, Compliance, and external partners, you will champion a social-first approach that balances creativity, agility, and governance. This is a highly visible leadership role with accountability for elevating social excellence and cultural relevance across a €16 billion global business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the global social and culture vision, operating model, and transformation roadmap across markets, zones, and clusters.
  • Own the global social strategy, including channel roles, editorial principles, always‑on engagement, social‑first standards, and campaign integration.
  • Establish and govern enterprise‑wide standards for social, creator, influencer, and cultural engagement, including brand safety, compliance, rights management, and risk mitigation.
  • Lead the global BrewLab agenda, setting governance, ways of working, quality standards, and capability expectations across all marketing clusters.
  • Drive the global social capability agenda through training, community building, talent development, and maturity uplift across teams and markets.
  • Monitor social and cultural performance across the organization, translating insights into interventions, governance actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of leadership experience within global FMCG or consumer‑focused organizations across social media, culture, communications, creator marketing, PR, or related brand‑building disciplines.
  • Proven experience leading complex social ecosystems across multiple markets, with expertise in governance, operating models, capability building, and performance management.
  • Strong track record of working cross‑functionally with Corporate Communications, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, agencies, and senior business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish standards, manage risk, lead escalation processes, and drive improvements in social effectiveness and brand relevance.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and leadership skills, with experience building high‑performing teams and communities across global organizations.
