In this role, you will translate business needs into actionable product improvements, driving both development velocity and quality. Reporting to the Product Lead, you will serve as the primary link between our Development and Product teams (including UI/UX and Solution Architects) to ensure our roadmap reflects our boldest strategic objectives.
What you’ll doAs Product Owner, you are directly influencing a high-impact product and end-user experience across real estate development and investment contexts on a global scale. Your responsibilities include:
Backlog ownership & prioritisation – Maintain a structured, execution-ready backlog aligned with technical feasibility and product strategy.
Execution-ready stories – Translate complex requirements, financial logic, and workflows into actionable epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Delivery flow & sprint effectiveness – Act as a scrum master for sprint teams. Ensuring sprint readiness, efficient planning, and consistent delivery of high-quality increments.
Tactical decision-making – Make informed, real-time scope and trade-off decisions during sprints.
Platform & data integrity – Own the overall QA of the web product. Ensure workflows, financial models, and data connections remain consistent across modules before every release.
Product improvement & solutioning – Work with PMs to identify opportunities for improvements and propose actionable solutions for features, flows, and platform enhancements.
A Bachelors degree or equivalent
A relevant PO certification (CSPO/PSPO) is a plus
Previous experience as a Product Owner or in a similar execution-focused role within a tech product team
Exposure to finance, real estate, or enterprise B2B platforms is a plus
Backlog management & prioritisation – Skilled in organising work to maximise value and minimise rework.
Requirements engineering – Able to translate complex domain and workflow logic into actionable user stories.
Technical and AI Fluency – An understanding of architecture, APIs, data flows, and integration constraints.
Systems thinker – You understand how workflows, financial logic, and technical components connect.
UX / Workflow literacy – Ability to ensure that backlog items reflect intended user and operational flows.
Scope governance – Protect platform integrity and sprint focus from uncontrolled requests.
Acceptance rigour – Confidently approve or reject work based on strict technical and product criteria.
Product innovation and insight – Actively contribute ideas and actionable solutions alongside PMs.
Entrepreneurial spirit – You truly understand the “why” behind the product and how it generates value for both OMRT and the client.
Highly structured and analytical – You can break down complex requirements into clean, actionable increments.
Principled and assertive – You can say “no” to custom requests that threaten the core product’s integrity.
Boundary-oriented and disciplined – In rejecting work that doesn’t meet strict technical or product criteria, you protect the platform from ad hoc customisation and ensure high-quality delivery.
Decisive – You are able to make calls quickly to keep the development team moving.
Innovative and solution-driven – You find practical ways to improve the product while balancing technical feasibility.
Execution-driven – You make real-time trade-offs during sprints to maintain momentum without losing sight of the long-term roadmap.
