Fortanix is looking for aCryptography Software Engineerbased inEindhoven, North Brabant, Netherlandswith at least3+yearsof experience inCryptography.The ideal person will have experiencedeveloping inRust,C/C++,and/or Golangwitha track recordof delivering quality software.

Whatyou’lldo (Duties and Responsibilities):

• Contribute to a friendly and helpful company culture
• Exhibit uncompromising integrity
• Pay attention to detail, understand and make well-reasoned design decisions and tradeoffs
• Think critically about complex technical challenges
• Implementand integratenew algorithmsandmaintainproduction-ready cryptography code in Rust, C/C++, Golangwithsecure cryptography APIs
• Analyzestate-of-the-artattacks and implement side-channel mitigations
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Research,documentand educate on new/existing cryptographic algorithms
• Help deploy,monitor, and tune the performance of our software
• Analyze existing designs

Whatyou’llneed (Basic Qualifications)

• At least 3+ years of professional experienceas a backend software engineer with contributions to cryptography
• Hands on programming experience in Rust, C/C++and/or Golang
• Hands on experience working in Linux environment
• A PhD in Cryptography or a related field, or equivalent training or work experience
• You currentlyresidein the EU and have a valid EU work permit

PreferredTechnicalAnd ProfessionalExpertise

• Have Security experience (Crypto, Key Management, PKI)
• Familiarity withgit,containers,orchestration tools, NoSQL databases
