As a Senior Social Specialist, you are the subject-matter expert in social advertising. You combine strategy with execution and are an important sparring partner for clients.You start with the briefing. What does the client want to achieve? Which audience do you want to reach? Which platforms and formats are the right fit? And how do you ensure that campaigns not only run smoothly, but actually deliver results?

You are not only involved strategically, but also remain hands-on throughout campaign execution and optimisation.

Your responsibilities include:

• Translating client briefings into strategic and tactical social plans
• Advising clients on social media, advertising and the latest developments
• Developing, setting up, managing and optimising social advertising campaigns
• Working with platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and Pinterest
• Analysing campaign performance and translating data into concrete optimisation opportunities
• Coordinating between clients, creative partners and internal specialists
• Reporting on results and proactively advising on next steps
• Spotting growth opportunities within existing clients and pursuing these together with the client team
• Sharing knowledge and acting as a subject-matter mentor for less experienced colleagues

You are able to independently tackle complex challenges, advise clients at a senior level and provide strategic direction. At the same time, you enjoy staying hands-on with campaigns, platforms and data.

You don't have to choose between strategy and execution: you do both.

You will join a leading international media and advertising organisation in Amsterdam. From various specialised teams, major brands are supported in translating their marketing objectives into smart end-to-end media and advertising strategies.

We are looking for an experienced social advertising specialist who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working with different clients and campaigns.

You bring:

• Several years of relevant experience in social advertising / performance marketing
• Experience within a media, performance or digital agency is strongly preferred
• Proven experience with both Meta and TikTok - this is a must
• Experience independently setting up, managing, monitoring and optimising campaigns
• Experience with client advisory and client communication
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with performance data
• Experience working with different stakeholders and campaign partners
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Excellent command of English, Dutch is a big plus

Experience with Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, Sprinklr, The Next Ad, SocialBakers or Meta certifications is a distinct advantage.
