Do you want to shape the future of farming by making sure our connected products work seamlessly on every farm, anywhere in the world? As an IT Infrastructure Architect, you play a vital role in creating robust, scalable, and secure IT solutions that support our innovative product development.
You’ll help define how farms connect and operate with our technology—from blueprinting infrastructure to simulating real-world environments in test setups. You’ll be solving unique IT challenges found in thousands of farms across the globe, contributing directly to product success and farmer satisfaction.
You will work closely with product development teams, acting as an advisor and technical expert for infrastructure-related decisions. Whether it’s enabling safe edge computing in remote areas or setting up test environments that mimic farm realities, your work enables smarter farming solutions.

Your main responsibilities:
- Design IT infrastructure blueprints tailored to real-world farm environments.
- Build and maintain test environments that simulate farm-based scenarios.
- Ensure secure, resilient, and locally manageable IT infrastructure on the farm.
- Solve complex networking and connectivity issues across unique edge setups.
- Act as an advisor to development teams on infrastructure-related product topics.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary, hands-on, and technically driven team.
What is your experience?
You are a pragmatic engineer or IT specialist who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys making impactful contributions through infrastructure solutions. You have a broad technical toolkit and a collaborative mindset, enabling you to work closely with internal stakeholders and translate needs into scalable systems.
We are looking for talent with the following experience or affinity:
- Proficiency in virtualization (e.g., Proxmox, KVM), Linux, and TrueNAS or similar systems.
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as VLANs, DHCP, (M)DNS, routing, and firewalling (Fortigate, Mikrotik).
- Experience with container applications and VPN technologies.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to document clearly and accurately.
- Experience working with technical teams and stakeholders to create and maintain usable IT systems.
- Comfortable working in ad hoc and evolving technical environments.
