Zo werkt onze sortering

De volgorde waarin vacatures worden getoond, wordt bepaald door een gecombineerde score die voortvloeit uit de volgende factoren:

  • Commerciële Prioritering (Premium Jobs): Vacatures waarvoor door de werkgever is betaald ('Premium' of 'Gesponsord'), ontvangen een boost en verschijnen hierdoor hoger in de resultatenlijst.
  • Actualiteit (Date Relevance): Nieuwe vacatures krijgen voorrang. De relevantiescore van een vacature wordt gehalveerd zodra deze ouder is dan 30 dagen.
  • Afstand (Distance Relevance): Vacatures die dichter bij de gezochte locatie liggen, scoren hoger. Voor vacatures die zich op meer dan 30 km afstand van de zoeklocatie bevinden, wordt de score gehalveerd.
Al deze factoren worden met elkaar vermenigvuldigd om de uiteindelijke sortering te bepalen.

About Us

QuantWare is building the world’s most powerful quantum processors to solve humanity's greatest challenges. We do this with our unique VIO™ technology, the only QPU architecture that breaks the hardware barriers that have held quantum computing back, unlocking the path to MegaQubit quantum processors.

With VIO, we are paving the way for the hyper-scale quantum computers that will change the world. And delivering on that vision demands people who don’t shy away from tackling the hardest challenges of our time. That’s where you come in!

As our VP of Marketing, you will build the marketing function at QuantWare. Scope is broad: corporate marketing leads, with product marketing, content, communications and PR, events, employer branding, analyst relations, institutional investor marketing, ecosystem development, government affairs, and marketing operations and measurement all in scope. Reports to the CEO with a leadership team seat from day one, with the potential to grow into a CMO role as the company scales.

A core part of the role is explaining QuantWare’s technology and its position in the ecosystem to the audiences that matter: customers, partners, analysts, investors, policymakers, the press, and recruiting candidates, at the right level for each.

This role spans more than a typical VP Marketing seat. We don’t expect any one candidate to have done all of it. If you have strength in corporate marketing and analyst relations and have built a function from a low base, apply! Even if you don’t tick every box below.

What you’ll be doing

Corporate marketing & narrative

  • Execute on QuantWare’s existing corporate positioning across the function and the company. Refine the positioning over time as the company and category evolve.
  • Translate the technology and QuantWare’s position in the ecosystem into clear language for each audience.
  • Land the narrative consistently across executive speaking, sales, partner work, customer materials, recruiting, and policy engagement.
  • Run the CEO and company thought‑leadership program — keynotes, op‑eds, podcasts, signature reports, conference moments — at a steady cadence in EU and US.

Analyst relations

  • Stand up an industry analyst program across Tier 1 firms covering quantum and advanced compute. Move QuantWare from net‑new on most analyst desks to a regularly briefed and quoted player within 12 months.
  • Partner with the CFO on the sell‑side program: map analysts who will cover QuantWare, sequence introductions, run the equity narrative work, and prepare investor‑ready materials.

Institutional investor marketing

  • Build the institutional investor narrative and supporting materials in partnership with the CFO, with weight on the EU and US institutional investor base.
  • Position QuantWare in front of the institutions that matter most, and show up at the right industry conferences, investor days and ecosystem events.

Product marketing

  • Build the product marketing motion: positioning, messaging, technical content, launch playbook, sales enablement, and customer‑facing materials for VIO™ and the QuantWare portfolio.
  • Translate a deeply technical roadmap into language that customers, partners, policymakers and investors can engage with.

Ecosystem development

  • Build the marketing layer around QuantWare’s ecosystem: control electronics, software stacks, cloud and hyperscaler partners, system integrators, and academic and national‑lab partners. Make integration and compatibility visible across customer, analyst, and investor conversations.
  • Run joint marketing with priority partners — co‑authored content, joint announcements, shared event presence — in close coordination with BD and Sales.
  • Position QuantWare as a hub in the quantum ecosystem narrative.

Communications, PR, content & events

  • Run media relations and proactive PR across EU and US, covering both quantum‑specialist outlets and broader compute and tech publications.
  • Build the content engine across long‑form, technical, video, and social, supporting thought leadership, AR, and the equity narrative.
  • Own the events plan: industry conferences, customer events, investor and policy events, and QuantWare‑hosted moments. Pick the few that matter and execute well.

Employer branding

  • Build an employer branding program that supports recruiting in physics, hardware engineering, software, and senior commercial roles, in NL, US and broader EU.

Government affairs

  • Provide input to the gov affairs strategy and then execute on it through the Director of Government Affairs and team.
  • Place QuantWare in the right policy conversations on sovereign quantum capability, ecosystem support, and the broader compute and dual‑use compute agenda in EU and US.

Marketing operations & measurement

  • Stand up marketing operations across the company: default templates for sales, partner, recruiting, exec and Board materials; a launch playbook; an editorial calendar; a content management system.
  • Make marketing measurable. Build a dashboard the leadership team and Board trust. Tie marketing activity to commercial and capital‑markets outcomes.
  • Enable the rest of the company to use marketing assets and stay on message without routing every artifact through the marketing team.

Team & agencies

  • Hire a team of 8–12 over the next 12 months, and lead and manage them.
  • Select and manage a tight set of agencies across PR (EU and US), content, design, events, and AR support.
Your Profile

We’re more interested in the shape of the person than in any single line on a CV. If most of the below resonates, please apply.

  • 8+ years in marketing, with 4+ years in a hypergrowth technology company where corporate marketing and thought leadership lead the motion.
  • Has built or substantially rebuilt a marketing function from a low base into a credible scale‑up‑grade org.
  • Track record running corporate marketing, narrative and executive communications in a deeply technical product company, in front of technical buyers and institutional investors.
  • Skilled at translating a deeply technical product and its position in a complex ecosystem into language that lands with each audience.
  • Has built or led an industry analyst program — or has worked closely with one and is ready to own it.
  • Direct experience marketing to institutional investors, through a public‑market transition or a sustained institutional investor program.
  • Has scaled marketing in the US.
  • Track record on measurement: has put a marketing function on a measurable footing that the rest of the leadership team trusts.
  • Operates well in a strategic leadership team and is comfortable in Board settings. Partners closely with the VP Product, BD and Sales, the CFO and CEO, and with the Director of Government Affairs and the CHRO.
  • People leader who hires ahead of need, builds operating rhythm, and gets the most out of agencies.
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Confident on stage, with the press, and with investors.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Delft. On‑site 4+ days per week, with periods of significant travel.

Nice to have

  • Government affairs or policy‑engagement experience in EU institutions or US allied‑tech policy circles.
  • Marketing experience in or adjacent to advanced compute — AI compute, semiconductors, advanced computing infrastructure.
  • Experience scaling US market presence from a European HQ.

Delft, Netherlands. On‑site 4+ days per week, with periods of significant travel across EU and US for analyst, investor, customer and policy engagements. Working language English.
