Job DescriptionOur client is looking for a Senior IT Procurement Manager to take a leading role in strategic sourcing and supplier management across IT-related categories. This position focuses on building value through strong supplier partnerships, clear category strategies, and close cooperation with internal stakeholders.
The role is well suited to someone who combines procurement expertise with a good understanding of IT and digital environments. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across international teams, managing complex supplier relationships, and supporting long-term business goals through effective sourcing decisions.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage category strategies for IT-related areas in close cooperation with business and technology stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and partners
- Lead supplier performance management and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive contract negotiations and support contract management across key vendor relationships
- Strengthen governance structures and ensure effective collaboration between internal teams and external suppliers
- Support alignment across the wider supplier ecosystem, particularly in technology-focused environments
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, added value, and improved supplier performance
- Help manage both strategic suppliers and a broader group of non-strategic vendors within the category
- Act as a trusted business partner to internal stakeholders and provide procurement leadership on complex topics
- Strong experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management
- Proven background in IT, digital, or technology-related procurement
- Experience managing large suppliers and complex vendor relationships
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Good understanding of supplier governance and contract management
- Experience working in an international or matrix organization is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP-related supplier environments is highly valuable
- Strong communication skills in English
