This role drives the adoption of a common data governance and domain model across Inter IKEA Group, working closely with our core businesses. That means building the team, the ways of working, and the stakeholder relationships that make governance genuinely useful — not just policy on paper, but something that helps people across IIG make better decisions with data.
More specifically, you will:
- Lead and develop a team focused on domain governance and data management.
- Establish and evolve ways of working that make data easier to govern, trust, and reuse.
- Build understanding, engagement, and adoption through coaching, communication, and storytelling.
- Drive the implementation of a shared domain operating model.
- Create alignment between business processes, data domains, and technology capabilities.
- Help teams solve real business challenges through practical and hands-on data management in close collaboration with our data product teams.
- Continuously simplify and improve how data is managed across IKEA.
- Ensure governance enables business outcomes while supporting quality, compliance, and long-term value.
