HR Business Partner Middle East Africa & EMEA HR Strategy & Planning

About the Role

We are in need of an HRBP who will perform a dual role; firstly focused on aligning our business goals with employees and managers of our Middle East & Africa organisation as a regional HR partner and secondly, helping us drive our people strategy and planning for the Delivery & Mobility businesses across EMEA as a programme manager. You will partner with our HR organisation and be involved in strategic People related processes, under the guidance of our EMEA HR Director.

You will thrive in an environment requiring flexibility and initiative, love solving people problems and be able to move quickly between varied responsibilities. This role is all about crafting the people environment of the Middle East & Africa organisation and playing a pivotal role in driving our broader people priorities in EMEA

What you'll do

  • Partner with leaders in the MEA region to support the recovery and continued growth of our businesses and create a sustainable environment in Middle East & Africa
  • Partner with our HQ teams and Centres of Excellence to roll out all key people processes (performance management, compensation, benefits, development programs, etc).
  • Be knowledgeable about our business, get to know the teams and build understanding/ empathy for the challenges they face.
  • Drive manager effectiveness by educating them on people processes and providing coaching/ guidance to enable them to deliver these smoothly
  • Be the custodian for our People Priorities for both Mobility & Delivery in EMEA, ensure that we remain on track to deliver these, own the regular cadences we have in place with business leaders and the presentation and tracking of key projects
  • Drive the execution of ad hoc people initiatives both within MEA and across the broader region
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance (partnering with the legal department as needed/required)

What you'll need

  • At least 7 years of relevant HR Generalist/ HRBP experience in a Multinational Company
  • Meaningful understanding of local labour regulations
  • Strong, demonstrated experience in Program Management in multiple locations, within the arena of people management
  • A history of providing HR consultation to managers in high growth organisations
  • Demonstrated ability to partner within and outside of HR.
  • Unquestioned integrity
  • Excellent influencing skills and extreme flexibility to be proactive in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator

Important Note: this role will require frequent travel to both Dubai and Johannesburg once travel restrictions are released, you must be prepared to travel and spend time in both of these locations to work with teams on the ground.
