The hotels F&B department consists of a lounge bar, a breakfast restaurant, banqueting rooms and an executive lounge for our VIP guests.

NIGHT MANAGER / AUDITOR
As a Night Manager / Auditor, you are responsible for all the administrative processes as well as the process of the check-ins and payments of guests. The most important thing for our hotel is to provide guests with excellent service day and night, and to ensure the safety of every guest. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities:

• Reviews financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.

• Assists in the response and resolution of all guest issues received directly from guests or from Guest Relations.

• Assists accounts receivable clerk in all aspects of job and in keeping all invoices due below 60 days.

• Monitors that the supervisor is researching/processing all chargebacks and rebates on a timely basis.

• Administers plans and actions to keep chargebacks and rebates to a minimum.

• Ensures all employees are adhering to proper cash handling procedures and monitors overage/shortages.

• Recruitment of the members for the night team, scheduling shifts of the night team and monitoring the hours of the night team. And caring the overall responsibility of the night team.

• Works with the leadership team of the property to identify and implement action plans to prevent the reoccurrence of guest issues.

• Ensuring security in the hotel by running security rounds.

• Running various reports to close the day and start the new day (identify any special guest requests).

• Checking the different payment processes within the hotel.

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to Marriott standards.

• Checking in and out of guests. Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.

• Solving problems when they occur.

• Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.

• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.

• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.

• Strive to achieve departmental targets.

• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.

• Comply with local licensing laws.

• Assist other departments wherever necessary.

• Passionate about hospitality and are real night person.
• Flexible to work a varied schedule that may include weekends.
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
• Speaking and writing skills in English and Dutch.
• Experienced in working with Opera & Marsha is an advantage.
• Experience in a global Hotel chain and customer faced role is an advantage.
• Highly organized and independent.
• A team player.
• In possession of a BHV diploma is required.
