Tasks
As a Shipping Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our goods are shipped accurately, safely, and on time - both nationally and internationally. You’ll handle the administrative side of transport, export, and customs, while complying with regulations, including those for hazardous substances.
What will you do?
- Ensuring correct and timely delivery of destination, customs, and clearance documents.
- Managing invoicing for shipments within and outside the EC.
- Independently planning solutions to transport issues to avoid delays and extra costs.
- Processing order data to enable timely invoicing.
- Handling correspondence related to transport and order processing.
- Performing administrative tasks for effective stock management.
- Creating shipping instructions and filling in freight rates.
- Assessing and managing ‘Letter of Credit’ conditions.
- Identifying and reporting transport deviations early to minimize backlogs.
- Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time, while following national and international regulations.
Requirements
What do we look for?
- Education at MBO level (senior secondary vocational education) or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with export documentation, ADR, L/C, and customs legislation.
- A team player who is accurate, flexible, results-driven, and communicates well.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Good command of Dutch and English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
