As Director of Sales you are responsible for the Sales & Marketing team consisting of a Senior Sales Manager, two Sales Executives, Sales Coordinator and a Marketing Coordinator.

- This role is graded under the Dutch Horeca CLA using the ‘referentiefuncties Horeca’ and is classified in salary group X, with gross monthly salary scale from EUR 3773.21 and EUR 4881.05 for full‑time employment. Starting level depends on experience.
- You will be responsible for the complete Sales & Marketing Team.
- Client acquisition, sales calls, sales blitzes and identifying new business is in your nature.
- Participate in relevant road-shows, fairs and other relevant events.
- Account management to maintain preferred status with all clients.
- Short and long term strategic planning.
- Work on yearly business plan and manage departmental budget.
- Monitor and evaluate local, national, international trends and competition to ensure offering meets needs.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, continuously exploring new opportunities.
- Maximize revenue in the most profitable way in line with set targets.
- Organize memorable events in the hotel.
- Great language skills in English and preferably Dutch as well.
- Pro‑active, customer focused, result driven and able to motivate the team to exceed targets.
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
- Experience leading a Sales team.
- At least two years of work experience in a similar position with a strong focus on the corporate segment and experience leading a team.
- Great computer skills and preferably PMS system knowledge as well (we use OPERA Cloud).
