Hello night owl! We trust you to look after our guests while they arrive late at the hotel, while they are asleep and while they are getting ready for the next day. You will excel at caring for guests, employees and providing a safe haven during the night at The Usual Rotterdam.

As a night host, you are co-responsible for the well-being of fellow employees, guests and our guest satisfaction on a daily basis. Your core focus is to create a welcoming and unforgettable experience for our guests while being responsible for the safety of our guests and fellow employees. During your shift, you are engaged in:

• Performing common reception duties, such as checking guests in and out and providing information;

• Being at our Ubar and prepare delicious drinks for our guests;

• Doing some financial audit activities;

• Monitoring the sleep and safety of our guests;

• Helping prepare breakfast and ensure that the hotel is ready for the morning.

With a genuine and friendly nature, you effortlessly build connections with others. As a team player, you thrive in an environment of open communication and honest feedback. You are also driven by a passion for sustainability. In your work, you enjoy a wide range of tasks and with your time management skills you ensure that everything is handled. Next to this, the following requirements apply:

• "Night auditor": previous hotel (or similar) experience is great, but it's not a must-have for us - if you're eager to learn we can teach you what you need to know.

• Fluency in English is essential, additional languages are a plus.

• Available for 4 shifts per week and flexible, with shifts from 23:00-07:00.

• Must have a heart for sustainability.

• You are legally allowed to work in The Netherlands.

• Monthly salary around €20000,- gross based on 4 shifts per week (30,4 hours). On top of that comes a 20% night allowance for hours worked during the night.

• We will offer you a contract for 4 days a week.

• 20 holidays to relax and unwind throughout the year (based on 4 days a week).
