- Defining the technical scope of projects based on an Initiation Form (IF) and translating it into required project deliverables which are applicable for the project's phases in which the discipline participates.
- Being an important adviser for the project lead/project manager in terms of technical options for the problem statements within the mechanical discipline Guiding and being responsible for the quality of the detailed engineering packages of external parties.
- Being responsible for the design including calculations, safety and integrity monitoring functions of the basic design up to the commissioning phase in which you work in close collaboration with the maintenance- reliability and/or process engineers.
- Recognizing and implementing improvement possibilities within the working domain, for example: changing standards & norms, working procedures, investment in new tools or hiring of external expertise.
