Your role

As a Senior Account Executive (UK Market) at Assessio, you take on a strategic and highly visible role within a fast-growing European HR-tech organisation with ambitious international plans. You help mid-sized and large organisations make better, fairer and more data-driven decisions about hiring, selection and development — decisions that directly impact both people and organisational performance.

A core part of your role is building and opening the UK market. You thrive on creating something from the ground up: developing new relationships, establishing our presence, and shaping how Assessio is positioned in a new market.

You own the full commercial cycle: from opening new accounts to closing complex, often organisation-wide deals. You don’t act as a traditional product seller, but as a trusted advisor and sparring partner for HR leaders, directors and executive stakeholders.

You have the freedom to shape your own approach and working day, while collaborating closely with an SDR, an experienced and ambitious sales team, and colleagues in Marketing, Product and Customer Success across Europe.

Our customers operate in both the private and public sectors and face challenges around talent, objectivity, diversity and predictability in HR decision-making.

What you’ll be doing

Creating new opportunities:

  • Proactively opening new accounts within mid-sized and large organisations in the UK together with an SDR

  • Building and managing your own high-quality pipeline, with a focus on value rather than volume

  • Exploring new use cases, sectors and applications within HR and talent challenges

  • Translating market and customer insights into commercial opportunities

  • Actively contributing to the successful launch and growth of the UK market

Leading complex HR-tech sales cycles:

  • Conducting strong, content-driven conversations with HR Directors, HR Business Partners, leadership teams and other key stakeholders

  • Understanding organisation-wide challenges in recruitment, selection and development

  • Positioning Assessio as a strategic solution within broader HR and change initiatives

  • Negotiating and closing long-term partnerships with lasting impact

Building sustainable commercial growth together:

  • Working closely with a dedicated SDR (UK market), marketing, product and Customer Success to deliver a consistent customer journey

  • Ensuring strong handovers and successful customer implementations

  • Maintaining oversight in CRM and steering on predictability, progress and quality

  • Sharing learnings and best practices from the UK market with the wider European organisation

Who are you?

You enjoy complex, consultative sales and get energy from opening and developing a new market.

What you bring
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within SaaS or complex solution environments

  • Experience with solution selling and multi-stakeholder sales processes

  • Comfort operating at both strategic and tactical levels

  • A strong sense of ownership over your pipeline, results and customer relationships

  • The ability to translate complex content into clear and compelling customer value

  • Experience with, or strong motivation for, launching and growing a new market (UK or international)

We practice what we preach. We ask you to complete an assessment consisting of three parts: a cognitive ability assessment, a personality assessment, and a motivation questionnaire.
