Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting a Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Specialist to support a temporary capacity gap at their Wolvega location. The successful candidate will oversee operational safety tasks, contribute to safety improvements, and promote a strong safety culture across the site.
Responsibilities- Support and coach teams to enhance safety culture and awareness
- Conduct gap analyses and risk assessments on key safety themes, including permit systems and safety analyses (LOTOTO)
- Advise on action plans resulting from risk assessments and safety audits
- Identify potential risks proactively and assist in maintaining a safe working environment
- Support incident investigations and provide practical safety advice during projects or specific activities
- Assist with implementing safety improvements and monitor their effectiveness
- Safety professional with 5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally within the packaging industry
- Safety certifications such as MVK, HVK, or IVK or equivalent
- Good knowledge of safety regulations (e.g., Arbowet, CE-marking, machinery safety)
- Experience with risk assessments and safety management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, SharePoint, and familiarity with Power BI a plus)
- Fluent in Dutch
