What you are going to do

In your role as Supervisor you are responsible for achieving the daily production goals and controlling, checking and correcting the quality, quantity and productivity of the operational activities within the team. Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

• Organizing, prioritizing, and dividing tasks within your team
• Daily communication/updates to/with the team and conduct monthly performance meetings with the employees within your department
• Supporting and coaching employees with the execution of their responsibilities and tasks
• Continuous focus on quality, quantity and productivity to guarantee timeliness and avoiding mistakes, including the execution of preventive and corrective actions
• Monitoring processes and progress of the flow of goods and maintaining proper execution
• Adequate follow up on urgent orders and pro-active signaling of eventual bottlenecks, creating and implementing improvement proposals and processes
• Conducting job reviews, assessments, and absenteeism interviews
• Maintaining order and tidiness of the work environment/department and implementation of 5s if needed
• Promoting co-operation and work atmosphere

Independent working ability

• Pro-active attitude, not requiring micro management
• Diplomatic, personable, approachable attitude
• MBO + (HBO is preferred)
• Fluent in English with Dutch and/or German being preferred (any other language is a pre)
• Previous experience in logistics, supply-chain, or related field
• Previous managerial/supervisor experience (2+ years)
• Someone who is flexible with working in shifts and on some Saturdays
