As our (Demi) Chef de Partie, you will be part of the kitchen team supporting in the day-to-day operation in the kitchen. From our central kitchen we cook dishes for the breakfast of our hotel, banqueting (meeting & events) as well as Bar and Roomservice. With your sparkling personality and your hands-on mentality, you provide excellent dishes for our guests.

What you're going to do

• Preparing dishes in the areas of breakfast (Buffet), Banqueting & Event Lunches and Dinners and a limited a la carte menu in the Bar and Room Service;

• You will be actively all-round working in either a breakfast shift, afternoon shift or an evening shift;

• Cleaning and upkeep kitchen appliances and areas while following high hygiene and cleanliness standards;

• Monitoring inventory and informing Kitchen Supervisor of shortages and discrepancies;

• Following health and safety procedures.

You work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment with people from different cultures and backgrounds. As a result, you always keep an overview, are able to set priorities and switch quickly. You know how to make connections and you take the initiative when decisions must be made.

Why you are the best candidate

To succeed in this role, we believe you should have a minimum of one year of work experience in the kitchen. You speak and write fluently in English, and Dutch is a plus. It goes without saying that you have an affinity with hospitality and cooking, you are a natural and creative professional with good communication skills. You posses the essential knife skills and you have strong knowledge of ingredients and recipes. You have attention to detail and you are able to work under pressure and in a team.
