Role DescriptionThe Senior Product Design & Development Manager leads the end‑to‑end design and development of specialized nutrition products, acting as the technical lead within cross‑functional project teams. The role ensures robust, compliant, and consumer‑centric product formulations while delivering the category innovation pipeline on time, with strong focus on quality, regulatory requirements, and execution excellence.
Responsibilities- Lead cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and deliver the category innovation and renovation pipeline, ensuring on‑time, high‑quality execution.
- Act as the technical and R&I lead in projects, representing Product Design & Development and driving key technological decisions.
- Ensure holistic product design by integrating consumer needs, scientific and nutritional requirements, regulatory compliance, and cost/value considerations.
- Mentor and support other Product Design & Development Managers while effectively managing stakeholders across functions in a dynamic environment.
- A Master’s or PhD degree in Food Technology/Science or related fields
- Experienced product developer (Min. 3‑year experience in Product Development or R&I environment), driven & resilient to face and overcome challenges in a dynamic and demanding environment
- Have a strong technological background in specialized nutrition know‑how, proficient in using product design and development tools.
- Good understanding of Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory frameworks for this category.
- Good knowledge of qualification and validation processes.
- Strong problem solving and decision making with analytical competencies.
