A Financial Controller at OnLogic’s European office in Oosterhout, The Netherlands, you will report directly to the Finance Director and assist with all daily functions of Global Finance. As a finance expert, you will be contributing to and improving the daily accounting, month-end and year-end close, reporting, and compliance in a fast paced environment.
As a Financial Controller, you will be a key person of influence and source of reliable information for the finance team, as well as for the broader OnLogic organization. In this role you are responsible for:- Prioritizing, coordinating, and participating in the daily transaction flow, encompassing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and the General Ledger.
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all accounting transactions and processes.
- Serving as the primary point of control for resolving accounting transaction discrepancies and transactional issues.
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities to enhance efficiency and scalability through the automation and streamlining of accounting processes.
- Identifying areas of financial and operational risk and implementing mitigation strategies, including but not limited to team structure, workflow optimization, cross-functional collaboration improvements, and process changes.
- Supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function and the annual planning process by providing relevant financial data, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and insightful analysis of revenue and spending.
- Supporting the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure the timely and accurate issuance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assisting in various aspects of domestic and international accounting operations as required.

Requirements
- 3+ years of overall financial experience
- Preferably in an international manufacturing environment
- You are proficient in Dutch and English
- Strong attention to detail
- Energetic self starter
- An analytical curious mind who can sense, analyse, and articulate the information that the business needs when it's needed.
- An agile mindset that can balance process and scalability in a very high growth environment.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt practices, processes, and techniques to changing priorities and issues and drive proactive, effective change leadership.

- Strong verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills, facilitation skills, and negotiation skills.

The salary range for this role is € 4.000 to €6.000 per month. We determine final compensation based on conversations with applicants and their experience in similar roles. Besides a base salary we will offer you a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
