Who are we?
Hotel Not Hotel has been a unique presence in the market from the very beginning because of its unconventional concept and its collaborations with various artists and designers.
In both Amsterdam and Rotterdam, you will find rooms in the most unique places, often hidden behind artwork. For example, you might need to search for your room door in our secret bookcases or you can sleep in a restored tram that was still operating in Amsterdam in the 1960s. Can it get any crazier? Absolutely. You can stay in a vertical swimming pool or in a Volkswagen bus imported from Brazil.
What does your workday look like?
Do you enjoy making guests feel at home and ensuring they have a great time? As an intern with us, you are treated like a full employee and will be closely involved with the Front Office, Management and Housekeeping. You welcome our guests, check them in, and help them find their way around the hotel. You answer the phone, process incoming emails and payments. You solve problems and, as a host, you give guests tips about Rotterdam. One thing is certain: no day is the same at Hotel Not Hotel.
What are we looking for?
You are currently enrolled in a relevant study program
You are proactive, stress resistant, and well organized
You have a sense of humor and endless energy
You are a strong communicator and able to complete tasks perfectly
You have an eye for detail and are always looking for improvements
You speak Dutch and English
