As a Technical Architect, you will make an impact by leading technical teams, providing architectural guidance, and ensuring delivery of robust, scalable enterprise applications. You will be a valued member of our ISG Practice, working closely with clients and internal teams to design optimal solutions, mentor developers, and drive continuous improvement in processes and code quality.
In this role, you will:- Lead and guide a team of developers, providing technical direction, code reviews, and mentorship.
- Plan, execute, and monitor project activities using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Design and architect complex, scalable, and robust enterprise applications.
- Identify, analyze, and solve complex technical challenges with optimal solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients, articulating technical concepts clearly.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes, code quality, and team efficiency.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Leverage AI tools for automation, modeling, analysis, and code generation.

What you need to have to be considered- 10+ years of experience in technical leadership and enterprise application development.
- In-depth knowledge of one major language ecosystem (Java, Python, .NET, JavaScript) and associated frameworks.
- Ability to evaluate and guide system architecture decisions for scalability and maintainability.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
- Expertise in build automation tools and version control systems (Git).
- Strong understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and TDD principles.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
- Experience in Integration Patterns (EIP), message-oriented middleware (JMS, ActiveMQ).
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git).
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
- Team leadership and mentorship skills.
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure).
- Knowledge of enterprise security (OAuth, SAML/SSO).
- Experience in performance engineering.
- Exposure to banking transformation engagements (Mortgage, Retail, Corporate, Private Banking).
- Knowledge of Dutch language.
