Job description

We are looking for a Head of Product & Design to lead and scale iChoosr’s Product Management and Product Design functions in a fast growing scale‑up environment. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for shaping product strategy, driving customer centric decision making, and ensuring cohesive, high‑quality product and design outcomes across our platforms.

This is a senior leadership role within the Product & Technology organisation. You will report directly to the Chief Product & Technology Officer and partner closely with both the CPTO and the Head of Engineering, as well as engineering, data, business, and operations teams, to translate iChoosr’s mission and business strategy into a clear product vision, roadmap, and execution plan. Together with the Head of Engineering, you form a strong leadership partnership: where Product & Design ensures we build the right things, Engineering ensures we build them right. Close collaboration between these roles is essential to deliver value, predictably and at scale.

We are in the middle of an exciting replatforming journey. Our teams are transitioning from a legacy platform to a modern, scalable architecture that better supports our customers, partners, and long‑term ambitions. As Head of Product & Design, you play a pivotal role in shaping this transition: setting a clear product and design vision across both the legacy and the new platform, translating platform change into coherent roadmaps and user experiences, and balancing short‑term customer value with long‑term platform evolution. You ensure continuity, quality, and clarity for teams and stakeholders as we gradually decommission our legacy platform and build a stronger foundation for future growth.

As a senior leader, you will focus on building empowered Product and Design teams, embedding strong discovery practices, and balancing speed with quality as the organisation grows. You contribute to strategic discussions across the organization through close collaboration with Product, Technology and business leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage change and transformation across Product & Design, connecting teams, leadership, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment, clarity, and adoption throughout platform and organisational transitions.

• Define and own the platform vision and Product & Design strategy aligned with iChoosr’s mission and scale‑up ambitions.

• Own and continuously evolve the Product & Design operating model, contributing to how teams work together, make decisions, prioritise, learn, and deliver value.

• Lead and develop Product Managers, Specialists and Designers, fostering a culture of ownership, discovery, and continuous improvement.

• Establish and maintain effective product discovery, validation, and prioritisation practices.

• Translate business goals, customer needs, and data insights into clear product roadmaps and outcomes.

• Partner closely with Engineering to ensure strong alignment between product vision and technical execution.

• Champion user experience, accessibility, and design quality across all customer and internal‑facing products.

• Use data, experimentation, and customer feedback to guide decision‑making.

• Drive team effectiveness across Product & Design through clear expectations, coaching, feedback loops, and measurable outcomes.

• Support hiring, onboarding, and talent development within Product & Design.

• Manage budgets, capacity planning, and external partners.

Your expertise

• Proven experience leading Product and Design teams in a scale‑up or fast‑growing digital product environment.

• Strong understanding of modern product management, UX/UI design, and discovery methodologies.

• Experience working closely with software engineering teams in an agile environment.

• Ability to balance strategic vision with hands‑on involvement when needed.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, bridging business, technology, and user needs.

• Data‑informed mindset, comfortable using metrics and insights to guide product decisions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Product Management, Design, Business, or Technology).

• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.
