We are looking for a tech-savvy, proactive and enthusiastic paralegal to strengthen the Corporate Legal Operations team.

This role means working in a highly dynamic international, changeable and challenging environment where you will work with various departments on all levels. The Corporate Legal Operations team (“CLO team”) is part of Corporate Legal Affairs department which operates at the very heart of ING. Our department oversees the corporate secretariat activities of ING’s Executive and Supervisory Board. The department also advises the organization on the impact and implementation of applicable laws and regulations in corporate law and governance.
Your team
You will become part of the CLO team of approximately ten colleagues. The activities of our team focus on the corporate housekeeping of the Dutch ING legal entities and issuance of powers of attorney and internal guarantees. We also provide program management support to ING wide policies for the legal structure and powers of attorney as well as functional application management of various legal applications. These applications include Eagle for ING’s legal structure, MyPRS for the registration of proxies, iManage for document management, and Sherpany for facilitating board meetings. Collaboration is key for our team. We are always looking for opportunities to improve our processes and work.
Your role and responsibilities
As paralegal in the CLO team, you will have the following responsibilities:
Take care of the corporate housekeeping of ING’s Dutch legal entities, i.e., drawing up shareholders resolutions
Issue Powers of Attorney and internal guarantees
Register data in Eagle, MyPRS and with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce
Prepare various legal documents for signing and legalization
Support ING colleagues worldwide with questions about the legal structure and requests from supervisory authorities
Contribute to process improvements and ad-hoc legal projects
Your competencies, knowledge, and skills
1-3 years’ experience in corporate housekeeping, e.g., with a trust office
A bachelor's degree in law.
Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
A positive and proactive mindset.
A team player with affinity for processes.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written. And preferably in Dutch too.
