This role will act as the STL for multiple high-profile projects across the ST business in areas including long term supply chain innovation, demand and supply mix, product offering, regulation and expansion. It will partner with stakeholders in both ATS leadership and the tech product teams to design and deploy a strategy that ensures our supply mix is built to enable the long-term scalability of ST. They will establish relationships across a complex matrixed environment and drive consensus across leadership on the strategic path forward for the program in the EU. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the rapidly growing ATS organization.
This role is focused on the Think Big, Earns Trust, Dive Deep and Deliver Results leadership principles. With the ability to navigate ambiguity, use data to define a roadmap, and an interest in product and technology development all being key to success.
This is a 1 year contract role.
Key job responsibilities
• Act as the Single Threaded Leader (STL) for multiple high-profile projects across the EU ST business in areas including freight supply and demand product offering, regulation and expansion - partnering with stakeholders in both ATS leadership and the Tech product teams.
• Stay ahead of market developments in the EU freight and transportation space, and use this deep expertise as an input to help craft the EU Strategy specifically considering - our operating and labor model, expansion goals and sustainability ambitions.
• Track market and regulatory developments in the transportation space across the EU, capturing the Risk and Opportunities in both new and existing geographies, helping to influence the expansion roadmap.
• Earn trust across multiple internal Amazon teams (finance, legal, corporate development, operations and tech) to achieve your goals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, economics, engineering or related field. Experience in program, product or operations management.
- History of managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success.
- Proven ability to identify, analyse, and solve ambiguous problems with an extreme attention to detail.
- A track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA and/or advanced degree in mathematics, economics, or a technical discipline.
- Experience in product, programs or operations management within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Superior verbal and written communications skills.
