Are you a visionary leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for innovation? Royal IHC is seeking a dynamic Head of Strategy, Marketing & Business Development to drive our strategic direction, market positioning, and growth agenda. In this executive role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, leading a multidisciplinary team across strategy, product management, marketing, business development, and corporate communication.
You will be instrumental in strengthening Royal IHC’s role as a system integrator within the Dutch maritime cluster and expanding our global presence in offshore, dredging, mining, and defence markets.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy
 - Develop and implement the corporate strategy.
 - Evaluate new business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
 - Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board.
 
- Business Development
 - Lead product development in collaboration with PMG Directors (Dredging, Mining, Offshore, Defence).
 - Establish a project-based structure for product management.
 - Identify new applications and emerging markets.
 - Support M&A and corporate development activities.
 - Align technology development with product strategy, focusing on integration and adaptability.
 - Manage the commercial product management team.
 
- Marketing
 - Convert market intelligence into strategic insights and actionable business cases.
 - Design and execute data-driven online marketing campaigns.
 - Lead the market intelligence and online marketing teams.
 
- Communication
 - Enhance brand positioning through strategic content planning.
 - Oversee internal and external communications across all platforms.
 - Represent Royal IHC at media and industry events.
 
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (complemented by an MBA or equivalent is a plus).
 - Minimum of 10 years in strategic and commercial leadership roles.
 - Proven success in product development and market launches.
 - Experience in maritime, offshore, or defence sectors is highly desirable.
 - Proficiency in Dutch is preferred, due to the nature of internal and external stakeholder engagement within the Dutch maritime ecosystem.

- A gross monthly salary between €10.194,- and €13.437,- +8% holiday allowance (based on a fulltime working week).
 - Good work / life balance with 40 vacation days for full-time employment with the option to buy or sell (additional) leave.
