Product Engineering at Leaseweb
As a Hardware Engineer at Leaseweb, you will be responsible for defining and improving standards for the dedicated server line-up. Your main tasks will involve selecting and testing new hardware for compatibility in Leaseweb data centers, racks, and automation. You will collaborate with local datacenter operations teams to ensure swift integration of new hardware and global adherence to rack standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze hardware and rack technology developments and explore their applications for Leaseweb.
- Interpret server hardware specifications for potential introduction.
- Establish technical standards for Leaseweb racks balancing cost and functionality.
- Oversee the hardware testing process.
- Act as a liaison between the provisioning engineering team and the bare metal automation team.
- Develop test setups and protocols to evaluate hardware capabilities and performance metrics.
- Acquire practical knowledge of hardware performance through analysis of real-world usage results.

- Passion for computer/server hardware and advancements.
