Are you that service-minded person with a great sense of hospitality who loves nothing more than to give people a great time? And are you looking for a nice job with flexibility in the heart of Rotterdam? Savoy Hotel Rotterdam is looking for an enthusiastic Host who always goes the extra mile!
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
You are the point of contact for our guests and provide them with all the information they need. You'll help guests check-in, tell them which highlights they really shouldn't miss, and ask them if you can reserve a table for them at one of your many recommendations in the city. In the meantime, you get a call from a guest who wants to reserve a room for next week. No problem, you will take care of that. You notice that the next guests are ready to check out, so you help them immediately. You're dying to know how they experienced their time with us. You take their suitcases, so they can hop into town before they leave. They tell you that they will come back for a visit soon. That’s why you do it.
Meanwhile, you see that your colleague is busy with guests coming in for breakfast, so you don't hesitate for a second and jump in. You help with serving delicious coffee, cleaning the tables, and making sure the lobby looks its very best again. It’s awesome to have such a varied job! And, whether you work during the day or a night shift; you are always beaming, and cheerful.
WHO ARE WE?
Savoy Hotel Rotterdam is part of Leonardo Hotels and was completely renovated in April 2019. The hotel now offers 95 luxurious hotel rooms and a cool Piet le Blanc Suite where you can play games, watch movies or listen to music. The lobby has a cozy open space where you can go for breakfast, lunch, drink coffee and in the evening get some work done or catch up with colleagues or friends over a drink or snack.

WHO ARE YOU?
- You really put the guest first.
- You are flexible, full of energy, and don't let things get to you easily.
- You have experience as a receptionist at a hotel and preferably you also now your way around in the F&B department.
- You enjoy working in a team, but working solo is also no problem for you.
- You are a real go-getter and have a great sense of responsibility.
- Have you worked with Opera Cloud before and do you have a BHV diploma? Both are a plus!
- You speak fluent Dutch and English. Do you also speak (some) French, German, or Spanish? Even better!
- You have minimum 2yrs of experienced in Hospitality
- You live in (the area of) Rotterdam and can easily travel to the hotel at any time.
