What will you do as a Business Analyst?
As a Business Analyst you will provide in-depth analyses on the performance of the company, understand and evaluate the parameters driving this performance and contribute to plans positively impacting this performance.
Organizational Context
You will report to Director Business Analyses & Strategic Finance within the Global Finance & Control department and work in a team which consists of 5 members.

- A master’s degree in Finance/Business Economics or a relevant educational field
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience;
- Strong analytical skills and conceptual capabilities;
- Good command of English language, both verbal and written;
- Enthusiastic team player;
- Self-starter who takes ownership;
- Easily connect with colleagues on various levels of the company and nationalities;
- Knowledge of Tagetik and/or financial reporting systems and strong affinity with Information Technology as enabler behind process innovation
- Challenge the traditional ways of our approach towards business analyses, while developing and implementing new data analytics techniques and other analytical tools/best practices;
- Development of ‘fit for purpose’ ideas, KPI’s and reporting templates to facilitate decision making for senior management
- Understanding the business performance drivers and lead the reporting process that provide these insights on a monthly basis
- Reviewing and challenging budgets and forecasts, combined with active involvement in setting the top-down budget;
- Provide quarterly updates to the Executive Board on financial performance, which are discussed with the Supervisory Board;
- Lead ad-hoc multi-disciplinary projects, focused on performance enhancement such as benchmarking, cost competitiveness and post investment evaluations;
- Liaising with other global departments as required, as well as providing support and advice to divisions on a need case basis.
