Dentsu Creative is looking for a talented Strategy Director to join our team in Amsterdam. You’ll be working in a diverse practice of visual, verbal, and experienced people, who work together to create purpose-driven brands.

Your roleYou work in collaboration with creatives, copywriters, designers and more, to develop effective communication strategies for best-in-class campaigns, brands, experiences and activations. You will be the lead strategist and sparring partner for several global and local brands.
Responsibilities- you are able to uncover original human insights through consumer safaris, video interviews, data analysis and other research means
- you use these insights to wow clients, creatives and other agency peers.
- you translate business objectives into real world tactics.
- you challenge all strategists with in-depth knowledge of changing consumer behavior. Push them to be more in the now and in the know of what is happening.
- you take an active role during creative development, expanding first creative ideas into elaborate campaign plans.
- you are comfortable with different qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- you are passionate about creating awesome creative work
- you are curious, analytic and breath research
- you are proactive, with the ability to take initiative and identify opportunities.
- you always strive for creative excellence, and pushing the boundaries
- you are blessed with good presentation skills
- you are a born team player, knows when to lead, knows when to be hands-one
- +5 years of experience in the field of strategy
- knows how to build proper decks
- a portfolio with strong creative campaigns, brands and /or experiences
- excellent verbal and written communication skills, in Dutch & English. Other languages are a pre
