The role💡Startselect, part of Coda, is Europe’s largest digital retailer for games, gift cards and in‑game credit and we’re looking for a talented and ambitious Senior SEO Specialist to join our marketing team.
As the gaming & entertainment label within Coda, Startselect operates across 20+ markets and works directly with iconic global brands such as PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam, EA, Amazon and many more. This is your opportunity to drive SEO impact at global scale within a high‑traffic, rapidly growing B2C e‑commerce environment. You will help shape the future of our platform, strengthen our organic presence and leverage opportunities including the use of AI‑driven SEO insights, automation and workflows.
You’ll report to our Marketing Manager, Dax Strüber, and work closely with our Content Lead and team to execute and elevate our global search strategy.
In addition to our web platforms, our fast‑growing Startselect app plays a key role in our future. You’ll contribute to scaling its visibility and adoption by applying effective ASO strategies and modern mobile SEO practices.
What will you do?🤔- Own and drive initiatives to improve our organic rankings, increasing sales for Startselect.com and the mobile app.
- Build and maintain a scalable, future‑proof SEO framework for our single, multilingual domain.
- Adapt SEO tactics to regional search behaviour, local competition and different user needs across international markets.
- Work closely with Content, Tech, Paid marketing and Category Management teams to ensure SEO is embedded in our platform, products and content roadmap.
- Design on‑site and off‑site optimisations, taking a strategic role in development of our platforms, placing SEO at the heart of our key initiatives and content marketing strategies through our blog.
- Create technical SEO analysis of our platforms to facilitate the development of clear, actionable optimisation roadmaps in collaboration with our Tech department.
- Lead Startselect’s evolution toward an AI‑driven SEO approach, leveraging intelligent insights, automated workflows and advanced automation where it adds real value.
- 4+ years of SEO experience & global multi‑country setups.
- Experience in developing a world‑class SEO setup.
- Working knowledge of industry standard SEO tools (Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs etc.).
- Hands‑on technical audits to help identify how SEO should be optimised to perform better within the organic SERPs and LLMs.
- Ensuring that audits, research and landscape investigations are properly utilised to deliver insight‑driven strategies.
- Love for numbers, an analytical mindset and a data‑driven approach to any projects. You measure the impact of any initiative and iterate accordingly.
